  • 2:228 · Al-Baqarahأَرْحَامِهِنَّ their wombsDivorced women remain in waiting for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to the wives is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
  • 3:6 · Ali 'Imranٱلْأَرْحَامِ the wombsIt is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
  • 4:1 · An-Nisaوَٱلْأَرْحَامَ ۚ and the wombsO mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.
  • 6:143 · Al-An'amأَرْحَامُ (the) wombs[They are] eight mates - of the sheep, two and of the goats, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Inform me with knowledge, if you should be truthful."
  • 6:144 · Al-An'amأَرْحَامُ (the) wombsAnd of the camels, two and of the cattle, two. • 8:75 · Al-Anfalٱلْأَرْحَامِ (of) blood relationshipAnd those who believed after [the initial emigration] and emigrated and fought with you - they are of you. But those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.

  • 22:5 · Al-Hajjٱلْأَرْحَامِ the wombsO People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.
