سُورَةُ الرَّحۡمَٰن
Ar-Rahmaan · 78 verses

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُal-raḥmānuThe Most Gracious
The Most Merciful
⤳ Link 55:1
2
عَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
عَلَّمَʿallamaHe taughtٱلْقُرْءَانَl-qur'ānathe Quran
Taught the Qur'an
⤳ Link 55:2
3
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ
خَلَقَkhalaqaHe createdٱلْإِنسَـٰنَl-insāna[the] man
Created man
⤳ Link 55:3
4
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَ
عَلَّمَهُʿallamahuHe taught himٱلْبَيَانَl-bayāna[the] speech
[And] taught him eloquence
⤳ Link 55:4
5
ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍۢ
ٱلشَّمْسُal-shamsuThe sunوَٱلْقَمَرُwal-qamaruand the moonبِحُسْبَانٍۢbiḥus'bāninby (precise) calculation
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation
⤳ Link 55:5
6
وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
وَٱلنَّجْمُwal-najmuAnd the starsوَٱلشَّجَرُwal-shajaruand the treesيَسْجُدَانِyasjudāniboth prostrate
And the stars and trees prostrate
⤳ Link 55:6
7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ
وَٱلسَّمَآءَwal-samāaAnd the heavenرَفَعَهَاrafaʿahāHe raised itوَوَضَعَwawaḍaʿaand He has set upٱلْمِيزَانَl-mīzānathe balance
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
⤳ Link 55:7
8
أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِ
أَلَّاallāThat notتَطْغَوْا۟taṭghawyou may transgressفِىinٱلْمِيزَانِl-mīzānithe balance
That you not transgress within the balance
⤳ Link 55:8
9
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا۟ ٱلْمِيزَانَ
وَأَقِيمُوا۟wa-aqīmūAnd establishٱلْوَزْنَl-waznathe weightبِٱلْقِسْطِbil-qis'ṭiin justiceوَلَاwalāand (do) notتُخْسِرُوا۟tukh'sirūmake deficientٱلْمِيزَانَl-mīzānathe balance
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance
⤳ Link 55:9
10
وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ
وَٱلْأَرْضَwal-arḍaAnd the earthوَضَعَهَاwaḍaʿahāHe laid itلِلْأَنَامِlil'anāmifor the creatures
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures
⤳ Link 55:10
11
فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِ
فِيهَاfīhāThereinفَـٰكِهَةٌۭfākihatun(is) fruitوَٱلنَّخْلُwal-nakhluand date-palmsذَاتُdhātuhavingٱلْأَكْمَامِl-akmāmisheaths
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
⤳ Link 55:11
12
وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ
وَٱلْحَبُّwal-ḥabuAnd the grainذُوdhūhavingٱلْعَصْفِl-ʿaṣfihuskوَٱلرَّيْحَانُwal-rayḥānuand scented plants
And grain having husks and scented plants
⤳ Link 55:12
13
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:13
14
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ
خَلَقَkhalaqaHe createdٱلْإِنسَـٰنَl-insānathe manمِنminfromصَلْصَـٰلٍۢṣalṣālinclayكَٱلْفَخَّارِkal-fakhārilike the pottery
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery
⤳ Link 55:14
15
وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍۢ مِّن نَّارٍۢ
وَخَلَقَwakhalaqaAnd He createdٱلْجَآنَّl-jānathe jinnمِنminfromمَّارِجٍۢmārijina smokeless flameمِّنminofنَّارٍۢnārinfire
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire
⤳ Link 55:15
16
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:16
17
رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
رَبُّrabbuLordٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِl-mashriqayni(of) the two Eastsوَرَبُّwarabbuand Lordٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِl-maghribayni(of) the two Wests
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets
⤳ Link 55:17
18
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:18
19
مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ
مَرَجَmarajaHe releasedٱلْبَحْرَيْنِl-baḥraynithe two seasيَلْتَقِيَانِyaltaqiyānimeeting
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]
⤳ Link 55:19
20
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌۭ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ
بَيْنَهُمَاbaynahumāBetween both of themبَرْزَخٌۭbarzakhun(is) a barrierلَّاnotيَبْغِيَانِyabghiyānithey transgress
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses
⤳ Link 55:20
21
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:21
22
يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
يَخْرُجُyakhrujuCome forthمِنْهُمَاmin'humāfrom both of themٱللُّؤْلُؤُl-lu'lu-uthe pearlوَٱلْمَرْجَانُwal-marjānuand the coral
From both of them emerge pearl and coral
⤳ Link 55:22
23
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:23
24
وَلَهُ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ
وَلَهُwalahuAnd for Himٱلْجَوَارِl-jawāri(are) the shipsٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُl-munshaātuelevatedفِىinٱلْبَحْرِl-baḥrithe seaكَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِkal-aʿlāmilike mountains
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains
⤳ Link 55:24
25
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:25
26
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍۢ
كُلُّkulluEveryoneمَنْmanwhoعَلَيْهَاʿalayhā(is) on itفَانٍۢfānin(will) perish
Everyone upon the earth will perish
⤳ Link 55:26
27
وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
وَيَبْقَىٰwayabqāBut will remainوَجْهُwajhu(the) Faceرَبِّكَrabbika(of) your Lordذُوdhū(the) Ownerٱلْجَلَـٰلِl-jalāli(of) Majestyوَٱلْإِكْرَامِwal-ik'rāmiand Honor
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
⤳ Link 55:27
28
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:28
29
يَسْـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِى شَأْنٍۢ
يَسْـَٔلُهُۥyasaluhuAsks Himمَنmanwhoeverفِى(is) inٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚwal-arḍiand the earthكُلَّkullaEveryيَوْمٍyawmindayهُوَhuwaHeفِى(is) inشَأْنٍۢshanina matter
Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter
⤳ Link 55:29
30
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:30
31
سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
سَنَفْرُغُsanafrughuSoon We will attendلَكُمْlakumto youأَيُّهَayyuhaO youٱلثَّقَلَانِl-thaqalānitwo classes
We will attend to you, O prominent beings
⤳ Link 55:31
32
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:32
33
يَـٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ
يَـٰمَعْشَرَyāmaʿsharaO assemblyٱلْجِنِّl-jini(of) the jinnوَٱلْإِنسِwal-insiand the menإِنِiniIfٱسْتَطَعْتُمْis'taṭaʿtumyou are ableأَنantoتَنفُذُوا۟tanfudhūpass beyondمِنْmin[of]أَقْطَارِaqṭāri(the) regionsٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti(of) the heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِwal-arḍiand the earthفَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚfa-unfudhūthen passلَاNotتَنفُذُونَtanfudhūnayou (can) passإِلَّاillāexceptبِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢbisul'ṭāninby authority
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]
⤳ Link 55:33
34
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:34
35
يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌۭ مِّن نَّارٍۢ وَنُحَاسٌۭ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
يُرْسَلُyur'saluWill be sentعَلَيْكُمَاʿalaykumāagainst both of youشُوَاظٌۭshuwāẓuna flameمِّنminofنَّارٍۢnārinfireوَنُحَاسٌۭwanuḥāsunand smokeفَلَاfalāand notتَنتَصِرَانِtantaṣirāniyou will (be able to) defend yourselves
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves
⤳ Link 55:35
36
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:36
37
فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةًۭ كَٱلدِّهَانِ
فَإِذَاfa-idhāThen whenٱنشَقَّتِinshaqqatiis splitٱلسَّمَآءُl-samāuthe heavenفَكَانَتْfakānatand it becomesوَرْدَةًۭwardatanrose-coloredكَٱلدِّهَانِkal-dihānilike murky oil
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil
⤳ Link 55:37
38
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:38
39
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌۭ وَلَا جَآنٌّۭ
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢfayawma-idhinThen (on) that Dayلَّاnotيُسْـَٔلُyus'aluwill be askedعَنʿanaboutذَنۢبِهِۦٓdhanbihihis sinإِنسٌۭinsunany manوَلَاwalāand notجَآنٌّۭjānnunany jinn
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn
⤳ Link 55:39
40
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:40
41
يُعْرَفُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَـٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ
يُعْرَفُyuʿ'rafuWill be knownٱلْمُجْرِمُونَl-muj'rimūnathe criminalsبِسِيمَـٰهُمْbisīmāhumby their marksفَيُؤْخَذُfayu'khadhuand will be seizedبِٱلنَّوَٰصِىbil-nawāṣīby the forelocksوَٱلْأَقْدَامِwal-aqdāmiand the feet
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet
⤳ Link 55:41
42
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:42
43
هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
هَـٰذِهِۦhādhihiThisجَهَنَّمُjahannamu(is) Hellٱلَّتِىallatīwhichيُكَذِّبُyukadhibudenyبِهَاbihā[of it]ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَl-muj'rimūnathe criminals
This is Hell, which the criminals deny
⤳ Link 55:43
44
يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٍۢ
يَطُوفُونَyaṭūfūnaThey will go aroundبَيْنَهَاbaynahābetween itوَبَيْنَwabaynaand betweenحَمِيمٍḥamīminscalding waterءَانٍۢāninheated
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]
⤳ Link 55:44
45
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:45
46
وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ
وَلِمَنْwalimanBut for (him) whoخَافَkhāfafearsمَقَامَmaqāma(the) standingرَبِّهِۦrabbihi(before) his Lordجَنَّتَانِjannatāni(are) two gardens
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens
⤳ Link 55:46
47
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:47
48
ذَوَاتَآ أَفْنَانٍۢ
ذَوَاتَآdhawātāHavingأَفْنَانٍۢafnāninbranches
Having [spreading] branches
⤳ Link 55:48
49
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:49
50
فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ
فِيهِمَاfīhimāIn both of themعَيْنَانِʿaynāni(are) two springsتَجْرِيَانِtajriyāniflowing
In both of them are two springs, flowing
⤳ Link 55:50
51
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:51
52
فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةٍۢ زَوْجَانِ
فِيهِمَاfīhimāIn both of themمِنmin[of]كُلِّkulli(are) everyفَـٰكِهَةٍۢfākihatinfruitsزَوْجَانِzawjāni(in) pairs
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds
⤳ Link 55:52
53
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:53
54
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ ۚ وَجَنَى ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍۢ
مُتَّكِـِٔينَmuttakiīnaRecliningعَلَىٰʿalāonفُرُشٍۭfurushincouchesبَطَآئِنُهَاbaṭāinuhā(whose) inner liningsمِنْmin(are) ofإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ ۚis'tabraqinbrocadeوَجَنَىwajanāand (the) fruitٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِl-janatayni(of) both the gardensدَانٍۢdānin(is) near
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low
⤳ Link 55:54
55
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:55
56
فِيهِنَّ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌۭ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّۭ
فِيهِنَّfīhinnaIn themقَـٰصِرَٰتُqāṣirātu(will be) companions of modest gazeٱلطَّرْفِl-ṭarfi(will be) companions of modest gazeلَمْlamnotيَطْمِثْهُنَّyaṭmith'hunnahas touched themإِنسٌۭinsunany manقَبْلَهُمْqablahumbefore themوَلَاwalāand notجَآنٌّۭjānnunany jinn
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni
⤳ Link 55:56
57
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
⤳ Link 55:57
58
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
كَأَنَّهُنَّka-annahunnaAs if they wereٱلْيَاقُوتُl-yāqūturubiesوَٱلْمَرْجَانُwal-marjānuand coral
As if they were rubies and coral
⤳ Link 55:58
59
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

هَلْ جَزَآءُ ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ
هَلْhalIsجَزَآءُjazāu(the) rewardٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِl-iḥ'sānifor the goodإِلَّاillābutٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُl-iḥ'sānugood
Is the reward for good [anything] but good
⤳ Link 55:60
61
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

62
وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
وَمِنwaminBesides these twoدُونِهِمَاdūnihimāBesides these twoجَنَّتَانِjannatāni(are) two gardens
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

مُدْهَآمَّتَانِ
مُدْهَآمَّتَانِmud'hāmmatāniDark green
Dark green [in color]

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
فِيهِمَاfīhimāIn both of themعَيْنَانِʿaynāni(are) two springsنَضَّاخَتَانِnaḍḍākhatānigushing forth
In both of them are two springs, spouting

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

فِيهِمَا فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ وَنَخْلٌۭ وَرُمَّانٌۭ
فِيهِمَاfīhimāIn both of themفَـٰكِهَةٌۭfākihatun(are) fruitsوَنَخْلٌۭwanakhlunand date-palmsوَرُمَّانٌۭwarummānunand pomegranates
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates

69
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

70
فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَٰتٌ حِسَانٌۭ
فِيهِنَّfīhinnaIn themخَيْرَٰتٌkhayrātun(are) goodحِسَانٌۭḥisānunand beautiful ones
In them are good and beautiful women

71
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

72
حُورٌۭ مَّقْصُورَٰتٌۭ فِى ٱلْخِيَامِ
حُورٌۭḥūrunFair onesمَّقْصُورَٰتٌۭmaqṣūrātunrestrainedفِىinٱلْخِيَامِl-khiyāmithe pavilions
Fair ones reserved in pavilions
⤳ Link 55:72
73
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌۭ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّۭ
لَمْlamNotيَطْمِثْهُنَّyaṭmith'hunnahas touched themإِنسٌۭinsunany manقَبْلَهُمْqablahumbefore themوَلَاwalāand notجَآنٌّۭjānnunany jinn
Untouched before them by man or jinni

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍۢ وَعَبْقَرِىٍّ حِسَانٍۢ
مُتَّكِـِٔينَmuttakiīnaRecliningعَلَىٰʿalāonرَفْرَفٍrafrafincushionsخُضْرٍۢkhuḍ'ringreenوَعَبْقَرِىٍّwaʿabqariyyinand carpetsحِسَانٍۢḥisāninbeautiful
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets

77
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
فَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo whichءَالَآءِālāi(of the) favorsرَبِّكُمَاrabbikumā(of) your Lordتُكَذِّبَانِtukadhibāniwill you both deny
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
تَبَـٰرَكَtabārakaBlessed isٱسْمُus'mu(the) nameرَبِّكَrabbika(of) your LordذِىdhīOwnerٱلْجَلَـٰلِl-jalāli(of) Majestyوَٱلْإِكْرَامِwal-ik'rāmiand Honor
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
