- 2:144 · Al-Baqarahنَرَىٰ We seeWe have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muhammad], toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces toward it [in prayer]. Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture well know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do.
- 2:165 · Al-Baqarahيَرَى would seeAnd [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah. - 2:165 · Al-Baqarahيَرَوْنَ they will seeAnd [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah. - 2:246 · Al-Baqarahتَرَ you seeHave you not considered the assembly of the Children of Israel after [the time of] Moses when they said to a prophet of theirs, "Send to us a king, and we will fight in the way of Allah "? He said, "Would you perhaps refrain from fighting if fighting was prescribed for you?" They said, "And why should we not fight in the cause of Allah when we have been driven out from our homes and from our children?" But when fighting was prescribed for them, they turned away, except for a few of them. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.
- 2:258 · Al-Baqarahتَرَ you seeHave you not considered the one who argued with Abraham about his Lord [merely] because Allah had given him kingship? When Abraham said, "My Lord is the one who gives life and causes death," he said, "I give life and cause death." Abraham said, "Indeed, Allah brings up the sun from the east, so bring it up from the west." So the disbeliever was overwhelmed [by astonishment], and Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

Among you are some who desire this world, and among you are some who desire the Hereafter. Then he turned you back from them [defeated] that He might test you. And He has already forgiven you, and Allah is the possessor of bounty for the believers.

- 4:77 · An-Nisaتَرَ you seenHave you not seen those who were told, "Restrain your hands [from fighting] and establish prayer and give zakah"? But then when fighting was ordained for them, at once a party of them feared men as they fear Allah or with [even] greater fear. They said, "Our Lord, why have You decreed upon us fighting? If only You had postponed [it for] us for a short time." Say, The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for he who fears Allah. And injustice will not be done to you, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed]."

- 6:25 · Al-An'amيَرَوْا۟ they seeAnd among them are those who listen to you, but We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. - 6:27 · Al-An'amتَرَىٰٓ you (could) seeIf you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, "Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth] and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers."
