  • 2:62 · Al-Baqarahوَعَمِلَ and didIndeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
  • 2:74 · Al-Baqarahتَعْمَلُونَ you doThen your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
  • 2:82 · Al-Baqarahوَعَمِلُوا۟ and didBut they who believe and do righteous deeds - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.

Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
  • 2:96 · Al-Baqarahيَعْمَلُونَ they doAnd you will surely find them the most greedy of people for life - [even] more than those who associate others with Allah. And Allah is Seeing of what they do.

  • 2:140 · Al-Baqarahتَعْمَلُونَ you doOr do you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants were Jews or Christians? Say, "Are you more knowing or is Allah?" • 2:141 · Al-Baqarahيَعْمَلُونَ doThat is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.

Upon the father is the mothers' provision and their clothing according to what is acceptable. No person is charged with more than his capacity. No mother should be harmed through her child, and no father through his child. And upon the [father's] heir is [a duty] like that [of the father]. And if they both desire weaning through mutual consent from both of them and consultation, there is no blame upon either of them. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Seeing of what you do.

And to forego it is nearer to righteousness. And do not forget graciousness between you. Indeed Allah, of whatever you do, is Seeing.
  • 2:265 · Al-Baqarahتَعْمَلُونَ you doAnd the example of those who spend their wealth seeking means to the approval of Allah and assuring [reward for] themselves is like a garden on high ground which is hit by a downpour - so it yields its fruits in double. • 2:271 · Al-Baqarahتَعْمَلُونَ you doIf you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds [thereby]. And Allah, with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.

Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.
  • 2:217 · Al-Baqarahأَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ their deedsThey ask you about the sacred month - about fighting therein. Say, "Fighting therein is great [sin], but averting [people] from the way of Allah and disbelief in Him and [preventing access to] al-Masjid al-Haram and the expulsion of its people therefrom are greater [evil] in the sight of Allah. And fitnah is greater than killing." And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able. And whoever of you reverts from his religion [to disbelief] and dies while he is a disbeliever - for those, their deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally.

  • 5:5 · Al-Ma'idahعَمَلُهُۥ his deedsThis day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them.
