Surah 106 of 114 · Makki
سُورَةُ قُرَيۡشٍ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1
لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ
لِإِيلَـٰفِliīlāfiFor (the) familiarityقُرَيْشٍqurayshin(of the) Quraish
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh

إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ
إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْīlāfihimTheir familiarityرِحْلَةَriḥ'lata(with the) journeyٱلشِّتَآءِl-shitāi(of) winterوَٱلصَّيْفِwal-ṣayfiand summer
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟falyaʿbudūSo let them worshipرَبَّrabba(the) Lordهَـٰذَاhādhā(of) thisٱلْبَيْتِl-baytiHouse
Let them worship the Lord of this House

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍۢ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ
ٱلَّذِىٓalladhīThe One Whoأَطْعَمَهُمaṭʿamahumfeeds themمِّنmin[from]جُوعٍۢjūʿin(against) hungerوَءَامَنَهُمwaāmanahumand gives them securityمِّنْminfromخَوْفٍۭkhawfinfear
Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear
