ٱلَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمًۭا وَقُعُودًۭا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلًۭا سُبْحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ

alladhīna yadhkurūna l-laha qiyāman waquʿūdan waʿalā junūbihim wayatafakkarūna fī khalqi l-samāwāti wal-arḍi rabbanā mā khalaqta hādhā bāṭilan sub'ḥānaka faqinā ʿadhāba l-nāri

Meaning

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire

  9. فِىfīon
  10. خَلْقِkhalqi(the) creation
  11. ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti(of) the heavens
  12. وَٱلْأَرْضِwal-arḍiand the earth
  13. رَبَّنَاrabbanāOur Lord
  14. مَاmānot
  15. خَلَقْتَkhalaqtaYou have created
  16. هَـٰذَاhādhāthis
  17. بَـٰطِلًۭاbāṭilan(in) vain
  18. سُبْحَـٰنَكَsub'ḥānakaGlory be to You
  19. فَقِنَاfaqināso save us
  20. عَذَابَʿadhāba(from the) punishment
  21. ٱلنَّارِl-nāri(of) the Fire
