Qur’an verses about trust in allah

Whoever relies upon Allah, He is sufficient for him. Verses on tawakkul, from planning a decision to facing an army.

· 7 ayat

Tawakkul, reliance on Allah, runs through the Qur’an as the last step of action rather than a replacement for it. The Prophet ﷺ is told to consult, decide, and then rely upon Allah. Believers facing a gathered enemy answer 'Sufficient for us is Allah'. And a promise stands for anyone: whoever relies upon Allah, He is sufficient for him. Each verse is shown in Arabic with the Saheeh International translation and a short note on what it says.

The verses

1. Surah At-Talaq (65:3)

And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.
