Qur’an verses about children

Comfort to the eyes, a trial, and a trust. What the Qur’an says about children, including a father's advice to his son.

· 5 ayat

Children in the Qur’an are prayed for as comfort to the eyes, described as a trial, and placed in their parents' care: protect yourselves and your families from the Fire. The Qur’an also preserves a father's advice to his son in Surah Luqman, and Ibrahim's prayer for his descendants. Each verse is shown in Arabic with the Saheeh International translation and a short note on what it says.
