Qur’an 51:56 Adh-Dhariyat, verse 56
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

In context

- 51:54فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍۢSo leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed.
- 51:55وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَAnd remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.
- 51:57مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍۢ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِI do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.
- 51:58إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُIndeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength.
