Set your location and prayer calculation method

Prayer times come from your location and a calculation method. Here is where to change both.

Prayer times depend on where you are and on the calculation method your local mosque or authority uses.

1. In Niyat, open your Profile.
2. Tap Prayer times.
3. Choose your Calculation method. If you are not sure, pick the one your local mosque follows.
4. Set Asr time: Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) or Later (Hanafi).

If your city is wrong, allow location access for Niyat in your phone's settings, or pick your city by hand.
