I paid but the app isn't unlocked. How do I sign in?

Open Niyat and tap “Already a member? Sign in”. Enter the email you paid with. We send a 6-digit code to that email. Enter it and your membership unlocks. Use the same email you typed at checkout. Do not start a trial in the app: your membership is already active.

Install Niyat first, from the App Store or Google Play. Then open the email on your phone and tap Open Niyat again. If it still does not open, skip the button: open Niyat, tap “Already a member? Sign in”, enter the email you paid with and the 6-digit code we send. Your membership is waiting on that email.

I use Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email. Why am I not unlocked?

With Hide My Email, Apple gives Niyat a different address, so we cannot match it to your purchase. Sign in with the email you paid with and the 6-digit code instead. Or add it to your account: open Profile, tap Account, then tap “Add a purchase email”. Enter the email you paid with and the 6-digit code we send.

Which email is my membership on? I did not get the email.

Your membership is on the email you typed at checkout. We send the welcome email there within a minute. Check your spam or junk folder and search for “Niyat”. You can also open niyatapp.com/account/manage, enter that email and the 6-digit code we send, and your membership shows there. Still stuck? Write to support@niyatapp.com.

What is the charge “NIYATAPP.COM” on my statement? Is this a scam?

No. NIYATAPP.COM is how Niyat shows on your card statement. Niyat is an Islamic companion app for prayer, the Qur’an and sourced answers. You bought a membership at niyatapp.com, and the payment is taken by Stripe. You can see the charge, cancel it or ask for a refund at niyatapp.com/account/manage. If you did not buy Niyat, write to support@niyatapp.com and we will sort it out.

When will I be charged again?

The welcome email shows your dates. With the free week, you pay nothing today. On the date in the email we charge $34.99 for one year, and then $34.99 each year until you cancel. We email you 2 days before the first charge. With the $0.99 first month, you pay $0.99 today, then $34.99 for one year on the date in the email, then $34.99 each year until you cancel. We email you 3 days before. A scholarship membership pays its year today and renews on the date in the email at the same price.

How do I cancel?

Go to niyatapp.com/account/manage, sign in with the email you paid with, and tap Cancel renewal. You keep Niyat until the end of the period you paid for, and we do not charge you again. If you cancel during the free week or the first month, you pay nothing more.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Every yearly charge has a 30-day money-back guarantee, the first one and each renewal. Go to niyatapp.com/account/manage and tap Refund me, or write to support@niyatapp.com. We refund that whole charge and your membership ends at once. The $0.99 first month is not refunded, because it pays for the month you used.

Can I use my membership on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Install Niyat on each phone and sign in with the same email and the 6-digit code.

I already pay through the App Store or Google Play. How do I avoid paying twice?

Check before you buy: sign in to the app first. If your account already has a membership, do not buy again. If you paid twice, write to support@niyatapp.com and we refund the web charge. Apple and Google subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings.
