How Ayah Lock and Salah Lock work

Ayah Lock asks for one ayah before the apps you choose. Salah Lock holds them during prayer.

Ayah Lock keeps the apps you choose blocked until you read one ayah in Niyat's Qur'an reader. You pick the apps, and whether it asks once a day or on every open.

Salah Lock blocks the apps you choose during a prayer window, until you mark that prayer.

If an Ayah Lock and a Salah Lock window overlap, the prayer window wins.

Niyat does not collect which apps you choose. On iPhone, the locks use Apple's Screen Time, so Niyat needs Screen Time permission.
