Evening Duas

Close the day the sunna way — the evening twins of the morning words, said as the light goes.

Evening adhkar are the sunna's way of closing the day the way morning remembrance opened it. From after Asr until nightfall, the Prophet ﷺ is reported to have said the evening twin of the morning words: the declaration that dominion and praise belong to Allah as evening comes, seeking refuge, seeking forgiveness, and the tasbih of glory and praise. The duas on this page are collected in that spirit — short enough to say on a commute, specific enough to mean. The Arabic is copied byte-for-byte from Niyat's reviewed dua library, and each card links to the full dua page with its source in the hadith collections or the Quran, transliteration, and audio where available.

1. Evening Supplication

Transliteration.
